I am so excited to share with you one of my favorite local jewelry designers Realia by Jen. I met Jennifer Scheffer last fall when I showed a couple of my pieces with Design Collective at the B96 Golden Life Fashion Show at the Fine Line. Jen was showcasing her collection with another favorite designer, Ariel Simone. I fell in love with her work immediately and asked her if I could wear some of her jewelry for the evening. Since then we have created a great relationship, meeting on a regular basis bouncing ideas off each other and trying to figure out how this small business thing works. I have also used realia in several of my fashion shows and photo shoots. She continues to amaze me with her beautiful vintage designs, innovation in learning new jewelry techniques and dedication to making her business successful (on top of having a fulltime job!) Last week one of my great friends (and model), Sarah Mraz hosted a trunk show of jewelry by Realia. It was such a fun event and I thought I would share it with you.
